Alaina grew up in Akron, Ohio where she developed a passion for photography and film. She then pursued a degree in Film and Television at DePaul University with a concentration in Creative Producing. During her time at DePaul she produced several films and series, and also gained experience in various crew positions. After working within the Chicago film scene, she decided to establish a career within the exciting community growing here.
